Advanced Cold Cementing Technology
One of Honglian’s unique manufacturing advantages is our dedicated cold cementing capability.
Many premium hunting boots, outdoor boots and work boots use EVA midsoles to improve comfort, reduce weight and increase shock absorption.
However, EVA materials cannot withstand the high temperatures involved in the traditional vulcanization process. If EVA components are vulcanized directly, they can become damaged or deformed.
To solve this challenge, Honglian operates two dedicated cold cementing production lines.
Our manufacturing process allows the upper and rubber components to be vulcanized first, followed by a separate cold cementing process to attach EVA midsoles and outsoles.
This enables us to manufacture:

Why EVA Boots Require Cold Cementing
During the vulcanization process, rubber is exposed to high temperatures that can damage EVA materials. Direct vulcanization may deform the EVA structure and negatively affect product performance.
